On Tuesday, June 21, 2022, our Justin’s Place Recovery Program celebrated 30 new graduates who walked across the stage to collect their certificates after completing the year-long program.

The theme of the night was “Refining” featuring the passage from Zechariah 13:9. From the message brought by Preston Long, Jr., a pastor from First Baptist Church of LaBelle, to the graduate testimony given by Chad Couture, the graduates were challenged to continue staying strong in their sobriety and know that God’s eye is on them even as they go through the fire and that they are surrounded by a community who understands and cares for them.

Our next graduation is set for October 20, 2022, and is open to the public if you’d like to attend and see the great work that God is doing through St. Matthew’s House.

You can view the recording of the 37th Justin’s Place Recovery Program Graduation service in its entirety below.

Two of our many graduates, Susan and Dustin Cheatwood, recently shared their stories with Fox 4, talking about how they came to Justin’s Place, successfully graduated from the program, met, got married and are now working as full-time employees at St. Matthew’s House. Susan works as store manager of our Naples Boutique store, and Dustin is a case manager at Campbell Lodge, our Naples shelter.
