Justin’s Place Recovery Program
Long-term programs for men and women aimed to combat drug and alcohol abuse.
In 2010, after identifying substance abuse as one of the leading causes of poverty and homelessness among our residents, the Justin’s Place Recovery Program was established to provide affordable recovery solutions to those we serve. Justin’s Place offers long-term, residential recovery solutions designed to equip adult men and women battling addiction with the tools needed to live a life of sober productivity. On the renaming of the St. Matthew’s House Recovery Center to Justin’s Place:

“It is our honor to take part in renaming the St. Matthew’s House Recovery Center to ‘Justin’s Place’ in memory of our son, Justin Holecek. Justin graduated from St. John Neumann High School in 1997, and from the University of Florida in 2002. Our son was a good looking, intelligent young man with a wonderful personality, but suffered from the disease of alcoholism. After years of abuse, Justin died on September 18, 2009, at the age of 30. It is our prayer that Justin’s Place will provide recovery in a structured, spiritual manner to people who reach out with a strong desire for a new beginning and a life free of addiction.”
With Loving Memories, Bruce and Jeri Holecek

Jill’s Place Retreat Center
Jill’s Place Retreat Center in Alva, Florida, is the permanent home of Justin’s Place Recovery Program for women.
This 11-acre property has four buildings with the potential to expand. This property continues to provide ample opportunity for our seed-to-table agriculture development plan. With the ability to grow enough produce to supply our catering enterprises in addition to selling the abundance of the harvest in the local marketplace, the program would offer a bridge for local churches and educational organizations looking for a way to get involved in the work Justin’s Place is doing.
