Job Skills & Training
Since our inception, St. Matthew’s House has worked to provide jobs and job training to individuals experiencing homelessness, addiction or poverty.
Our thrift stores, restaurant, catering company, and program operations offer individuals the opportunity to gain the skills and hands-on experience needed to find and keep meaningful work. Trainees also benefit from soft-skills development, including resume building, interview skills, and personal growth.
Each year, St. Matthew’s House trains and employs more than 100 program participants seeking to relaunch their careers. On average, 40% of St. Matthew’s House entire workforce have personally benefitted from our programs.
