With inflation affecting prices across Collier County, lots of people are struggling to pay rent causing many to face the threat of homelessness for the first time.
This is alarmingly evident through our shelter waitlist which has more than doubled since October with many of those residents being senior citizens.
As of Friday, April 29, there were more than 100 individuals on our waitlist.
In January, our Naples shelter, Campbell Lodge, received approval to expand our bed capacity, and we’re working to get the new beds added soon to help combat the growing need.
If you or someone you know needs shelter, visit our “Get Help” page or call (239) 774-0500.
