Welcome to our monthly Spotlight e-newsletter where we provide organizational updates, upcoming events and other ways that you can get involved.

Last month, we celebrated the first full year of our Fort Myers Shelter for Women & Children being open. It was a time of honoring the staff and volunteers whose daily hard work makes it possible and rededicating the space to God and asking for blessings for the year ahead. Thank you to everyone who joined that celebration and purchased items off the wishlist.

We are pleased to share that our 2025 Annual Report is now available. Inside, you’ll find a comprehensive look at the past fiscal year, including stories of impact and detailed financial information.

A digital version is available for download on our website. If you would prefer a printed copy, please email [email protected] .

Looking ahead, we have some exciting events coming up. On February 27, we’re hosting an organ concert and reception at the Naples United Church of Christ featuring world-renowned organist, André Knevel. Tickets are still available through our website.

Later in the spring, we have our annual St. Matthew’s House Golf Scramble! If you’re interested in being a sponsor for that event, you can visit the events page on our website or email [email protected] for more information.

And finally, on the horizon, we’re moving into the implementation of the second phase of our Journey Together Capital Campaign. We’re roughly four months out from beginning construction on Justin’s Village which will expand our transitional housing units for individuals who graduate from our recovery program. You can stay up to date on that progress by visiting www.stmatthewshouse.org/journeytogether

Thank you for supporting our work at St. Matthew’s House, and until next month, God Bless!

Furniture, appliances, equipment, clothing… we take it all!

Our professional fleet drives across Southwest Florida to pick up items for resale at our thrift stores. The proceeds from the sales in turn help fund the administrative costs of St. Matthew’s House.

We make an average of 16,450 pickups a year!

Thank you to our hard working team of dispatch officers and drivers who make this happen!
