On December 23, hundreds waited in anticipation outside of our Immokalee shelter for their turn to “shop” for toys for Christmas.
Our Immokalee Friendship House held its 8th annual community Christmas party.
Over the past months, gifts were donated by residents across Collier County so that we could host the party filling a room with presents to give to kids in Immokalee.
More than 150 kids and parents attended the party taking home over 350 presents (over $6,000 worth!) to make this holiday season a little more merry and bright.
