Covid-19 has caused a lot of us to get creative, and St. Matthew’s House is no exception! As some of our traditional fundraisers was postponed this year, we’ve been thinking on our feet new and exciting ways for you to get involved with the mission–so we’re presenting our first ever virtual fundraiser!

About The Event

St. Matthew’s House E-Race Hunger & Homelessness 200K is a virtual race to raise $200,000 to helpSt. Matthew’s House continue to feed the hungry and shelter the homeless in our community during this timeof global pandemic.

Already we’ve seen massive increases in need for direct assistance. We need to be prepared to meet these rising needs in our community and we need your help to do it!

This virtual fundraiser exists completely online, and is the first of it’s kind for St. Matthew’s House. We need your help to make it a success!

What Can I Do?

You can raise money through one-time gifts or donations given for a measurable amount accomplished for an activity you choose. This is event is like a walk-a-thon or other “a-thon” fundraisers, but as it’s virtual, you’re not limited in the activity you pick. Get creative! Maybe it’s how many books you read, fish you catch, minutes you play, masks you sew—anything you love to do already can easily turn into a way to erase hunger and homelessness!

How Do I Sign Up?

If you’d like to participate, follow these easy steps to get started!

1. Register online to create your own fundraising profile to share with friends and family.
2. Download our Participation Guide to walk you through getting starting, using hashtags, and more!
3. Visit our E-Race Social Media Toolkit to get extra resources like images to share on Facebook that will help kickstart your fundraising campaign!

If you’d rather just make a donation, either to somebody specific or to the overall E-Race, just visit our main site here using the button below. You’ll be able to view teams, E-Racers, and see how we’re doing making our goal! You can also share this link on your social media after you’ve made a donation to encourage your friends and family.
