The First Naples Church parking lot again will transform into a bustling holiday central assembly line for the 19th Annual Capital Wealth Advisors (CWA) Turkey Drop event. The entire CWA team joins with St. Matthew’s House as more than 100 volunteers gather and pack food donations for “Hope for the Holidays” meals that will help to make the holidays special for hundreds of Southwest Florida families experiencing hardship.

Capital Wealth Advisors presents the Turkey Drop event with community partners First Naples Church; Moglia Family Foundation; Wilson & Johnson; Woods, Weidenmiller, Michetti & Rudnick; Seed to Table; Cal-Maine Foods, Inc.; Allen Concrete & Masonry, Inc.; Audi Naples; New IQ; DeAngelis Diamond; Right at Home; Cogent Bank; Midwest Food Bank; Harry Chapin Food Bank of Southwest Florida; Alpha Lift Trucks; Sunbelt Rental; Sentry Insurance Advisors and Ralph MacNiven State Farm.

The public can participate in Turkey Drop now through November 20 by donating frozen turkeys and canned goods at the St. Matthew’s House donation drop off at 2601 Airport Road South, Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Cash donations also are appreciated.

Starting November 15, Hope for the Holidays meal boxes will be distributed by St. Matthew’s House to low-income families, those with disabilities, senior citizens and veterans. Information on distribution locations and dates can be found at stmatthewshouse.org.

CWA President and CEO Bill Beynon and his wife Nena started Turkey Drop 19 years ago after he heard a radio spot asking for turkeys to be donated to St. Matthew’s house for those in need during the holidays. That donation was Beynon’s inspiration for the first Turkey Drop and the event has grown to what is now CWA’s favorite holiday tradition. Today, CWA is joined by its many business and community partners in supporting St. Matthew’s House in its feeding mission, and more than 3,000 turkeys, dinners with sides, vegetable boxes and pumpkin pies are distributed to individuals and families each year.

“The CWA Team, our community partners and St. Matthew’s House have been hard at work preparing for the 19th Annual CWA Turkey Drop,” says Beynon. “We also have a goal to raise additional funds to help St. Matthew’s House in its mission to provide food, shelter and services to those in need beyond the holiday season. Together, we definitely can make a difference!”
