DESCRIPTION:On Sunday\, March 1st from 6:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.\, St. Matthew’s House and Johnny and Lisa PerMar (of JohnnyandLisaDance.com) will host the 2nd annual ‘HUNGER BALL’ to support the mission and programs of St. Matthew’s House. \nThe event will take place at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church (625 111th Ave N.\, Naples) and will culminate a weekend of non-stop fundraising. Ballroom dance instructors Johnny and Lisa PerMar will be giving away FREE private dance lessons during their ‘WILL DANCE FOR FOOD’ campaign. \nAs part of the ‘WILL DANCE FOR FOOD’ campaign\, donors will receive a private dance lesson in exchange for two (2) full event bags donated with non-perishable food items. The couple and their team of instructors will teach the lessons for 48 hours straight from February 27-28 at the Naples Performing Arts Center. \nTheir goal is to raise more than a metric ton of donated food during the campaign. Official complimentary ‘WILL DANCE FOR FOOD’ event bags can be picked up by contacting Johnny and Lisa at (239) 919-0201 or (239) 919-0205. \nThe weekend will then be capped off with the Havana nights themed ‘HUNGER BALL’ that will feature dance performances\, food by SMH Catering\, live music by Manhattan Connection\, a fashion show and more. The MC for the event will be NBC-2 anchor Chad Oliver. \nTickets can be purchased on Eventbrite. \nProceeds to benefit St. Matthew’s House.

DESCRIPTION:The Celebration of Hope Benefit Dinner is an annual fundraising dinner to benefit and support the many services that St. Matthew’s House provides to the homeless\, hungry and addicted of our community. \n \nThe format of the dinner gives us the opportunity to share St. Matthew’s House with new people\, that by our own efforts\, would not have that opportunity. \nThe dinner is free for all of the guests and the way to get invited is by a Table Captain.  A Table Captain is someone who has a passion for St. Matthew’s House and wants to share that passion with their friends\, neighbors\, co-workers\, or those whom they attend church with by inviting them to join them at their table at the dinner. \nNearly 400 of the most philanthropically-minded and affluent people from the Naples area attend this business casual informative dinner \nIf you’re interested in being a table captain or event sponsor email us or call (239) 298-5026.

DESCRIPTION:(February 15\, 2015 – Immokalee\, Florida) \nALTAIR Training Solutions will be hosting the 2015 Annual Bark-A-Que\, benefitting Guardian Angels Medical Service Dogs\, Inc. on March 21\, 2015 from 11-3pm. This fun-filled event will be held at the brand new\, 1\,150 acre\, ALTAIR Regional Training Facility (the old Hendry County Correctional Facility)\, located at 12551 Wainwright Drive\, Immokalee\, Florida. A rare chance to see this amazing facility\, not generally open to the public. \nThe fundraiser will feature live music by country music rising star\, Joe Bachman\, as well as performances by local talent Jon Bowlin\, and the Lehigh Children’s Choir. Along with shooting demonstrations\, an amazing silent auction\, plenty of barbeque\, a kids play land\, raffles\, vendor booths\, and much more! \nGuardian Angels Medical Service Dogs is a 501(C)3 Based in Florida that rescues\, raises\, trains and then donates individually trained medical service dogs to Veterans and others who suffer from disabilities. There is no federal funding available for this critical life-saving program\, so we need your help. \nEvent attendees are encouraged to RSVP before March 12th.  Tickets are $35 per person prior to March 12\, and $50 per person after March 12\, or at the gate.
