DESCRIPTION:The Celebration of Hope Benefit Dinner is an annual fundraising dinner to benefit and support the many services that St. Matthew’s House provides to the homeless\, hungry and addicted of our community. \n \nThe format of the dinner gives us the opportunity to share St. Matthew’s House with new people\, that by our own efforts\, would not have that opportunity. \nThe dinner is free for all of the guests and the way to get invited is by a Table Captain.  A Table Captain is someone who has a passion for St. Matthew’s House and wants to share that passion with their friends\, neighbors\, co-workers\, or those whom they attend church with by inviting them to join them at their table at the dinner. \nNearly 400 of the most philanthropically-minded and affluent people from the Naples area attend this business casual informative dinner \nIf you’re interested in being a table captain or event sponsor email us or call (239) 298-5026.

DESCRIPTION:On Sunday\, March 1st from 6:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.\, St. Matthew’s House and Johnny and Lisa PerMar (of JohnnyandLisaDance.com) will host the 2nd annual ‘HUNGER BALL’ to support the mission and programs of St. Matthew’s House. \nThe event will take place at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church (625 111th Ave N.\, Naples) and will culminate a weekend of non-stop fundraising. Ballroom dance instructors Johnny and Lisa PerMar will be giving away FREE private dance lessons during their ‘WILL DANCE FOR FOOD’ campaign. \nAs part of the ‘WILL DANCE FOR FOOD’ campaign\, donors will receive a private dance lesson in exchange for two (2) full event bags donated with non-perishable food items. The couple and their team of instructors will teach the lessons for 48 hours straight from February 27-28 at the Naples Performing Arts Center. \nTheir goal is to raise more than a metric ton of donated food during the campaign. Official complimentary ‘WILL DANCE FOR FOOD’ event bags can be picked up by contacting Johnny and Lisa at (239) 919-0201 or (239) 919-0205. \nThe weekend will then be capped off with the Havana nights themed ‘HUNGER BALL’ that will feature dance performances\, food by SMH Catering\, live music by Manhattan Connection\, a fashion show and more. DESCRIPTION:St. Matthew’s House\, in conjunction with Bill and Doris Roche\, will host its annual Marco Island ‘Celebration of Hope’ benefit dinner. In 2014\, this event contributed to the more than $1.3 million raised toward funding the organization’s Justin’s Place Recovery Program. The event will feature live and recorded testimonies from clients of the Justin’s Place Recovery Program whom have seen their lives transformed. Dinner will be provided by SMH Catering\, a social enterprise of St. Matthew’s House. \nTo date\, the Justin’s Place Recovery Program has graduated 186 individuals.

DESCRIPTION:The Naples Chapter of the Ferrari Club of America is proud to announce the 11th Annual ‘Cars on 5th’ show in Naples. Set for Saturday February 14th\, 2015\, on Fifth Avenue South\, the eleventh annual show will be better than ever. \nThe ‘Cars on 5th’ show is also about helping the community and giving to those in need. Donations from the attendees and individual contributions to our featured charities have risen over $350\,000 over the past ten years. The 2015 11th Annual Cars on 5th will benefit our featured Naples charity\, St. Matthew’s House\, which has been giving back to Southwest Florida for more than a quarter century. St. Matthew’s House works to offer hope to the hopeless through its emergency shelters and transitional housing facilities\, food pantries\, daily feeding ministry\, and its innovative ‘Justin’s Place’ drug/alcohol recovery programs. \nThe Ferrari Club of America is the largest Ferrari club in the world with over 5\,000 members that benefit from its activities\, events and enthusiast camaraderie. \nThe 2014 show broke all previous attendance records\, and with over 500 private entries and dealer cars\, the displays on the street were outstanding. Rarely can such a superb collection of exotics and collector cars be found in one location\, and there were plenty of enthusiasts on hand to enjoy the show. The attendance estimates numbered nearly 40\,000\, and there was lots to see and enjoy in the lovely Naples weather. \nTo conclude the show all car owners will start their cars at 3 PM sharp for a resounding Drive-Off by over 400 cars. It is a fitting send off for what is to be another successful ‘Cars on 5th’ here in Naples Florida.
