Most people in Collier County are familiar with Cars on 5th, but this year, St. Matthew’s House in partnership with the Ferrari Club of America – Naples Chapter decided to expand the event and create a four-day fundraising event called the “Naples Automotive Experience.” It began on the evening of Thursday, February 3 with a Jetport Reception and ended on Sunday, February 6 with an afternoon Poker Run. Read on for more details about each event!
THURSDAY, February 3
The Jetport Reception kicked off the Naples Automotive Experience. Guests arrived at the Elite Jets hangar in Naples to view jets, helicopters and sports cars while sipping drinks, eating delectable hors d’oeuvres and smoking fresh cigars.
FRIDAY, February 4
Friday featured the first-ever Naples Motorcar Auction. We partnered with Saratoga Auto Auction and the Saratoga Automobile Museum to auction off 85 vehicles along with some art and memorabilia.
SATURDAY, February 5
Day three was the 18th annual Cars on 5th event downtown which is the largest single-day event in Naples. It seemed the whole city and then some turned up to view over 650 cars, hear live music from the Ben Allen Band, eat some delicious food from Delicious by Design and enjoy the Florida sunshine!

Sunday, February 6
To finish off the four days, car owners met for the epic poker run from Naples to LaBelle where they gathered at our Port LaBelle Inn & Conference Center for a catered lunch and reception.
The 2022 Naples Automotive Experience raised over one million dollars for St. Matthew’s House, but we couldn’t have done it without the combined support of our attendees, our sponsors and our volunteers. We are so grateful to be serving this community, so thank you for your support as we continue bringing hope to those struggling with hunger, homelessness and addiction across Southwest Florida.
It’s never too early to consider sponsoring next year’s event! Reach out to Bill Curry (239) 687-7629 if you’re interested.
