While we know that age brings wisdom and reflection, but often we need the reminder that youth brings with its willingness to act when there is a need.
Over the weekend two young women, Izzy and Madison, both Gulf Coast High School students, jumped into action after hearing about St. Matthew’s House needs for food to sustain the record-breaking number of people coming to our distributions. They’ve distributed over 400 bags within their neighborhoods to recollect, filled with pantry items to send to our collection warehouse!
Their response shows that as long as you’re willing, you can make a difference. Thank you Izzy and Madison! We love your hearts of service!
