Naples, FL — February 13, 2020 — The 16th annual Ferrari Club of America Cars on 5th held on February 8 to benefit St. Matthew’s House raised a total of $501,000. These funds will support St. Matthew’s House in its work to provide programs and services for those struggling with homelessness, hunger, substance abuse and poverty in Southwest Florida.
“We are deeply grateful to be selected as the annual beneficiary of this outstanding Naples Automotive Experience,” says St. Matthew’s House President and CEO Vann Ellison. “This year, we benefitted from not only the Cars on 5th event, but also the inaugural Jetport Reception and the After Show Party. We thank Ferrari Club of America Naples Chapter President Tom O’Riordan and the dedicated Ferrari Club members and other participating car clubs who make these events such a tremendous success each year. We also thank the City of Naples and the generous sponsors and attendees who support St. Matthew’s House through this event. These funds will go far in helping us to deliver our life transforming programs and services to those in need throughout our community.”
St. Matthew’s House operates the only Collier County facility approved for public feeding, providing more than 500,000 meals each year for St. Matthew’s House residents and those in the community who are suffering from chronic hunger. St. Matthew’s House also operates the only emergency homeless shelters in Collier County, sheltering more than 300 men, women and children every night.
