Urgently needed (updated 8/24/10) ---We are running very low on many of the items that go in the grocery bags given to the community in need every day. Please help with donations of any of the following:
- Cold cereal
- Canned soups, vegetables, fruit and meats (chicken, tuna)
- Dry beans
- Rice
- Dry soup
- Peanut butter
- Jelly
- Spaghetti and sauce
- Powdered drink mix
The following are also in high demand, as they get used up and handed out so quickly:
Insect repellant
Shampoo (both big and small containers)
Diapers sizes 2-6
Baby wipes
Disposable razors
Ongoing
Main House and Immokalee Friendship House:
Baby wipes
Blankets (during winter months especially)
Diapers-all sizes, but greater need for 3-6
Insect Repellant
Razors - Men's/women's disposable
Toiletry items, preferably sample sized:
- Female hygiene products
- Soap, Deodorant
- Toilet paper and paper towels
- Toothpaste, Shampoo
- Washcloths
- Towels (in good condition or new)
Twin comforters (in good condition or new)
Twin sized sheets (in good condition or new)
Van for transporting residents
Food Pantries:
Bottled water; Peanut butter and jelly
Canned goods-all varieties;
non-dairy creamer
Canned tuna fish and chicken;Dry beans
Coffee; Canned and dry soups
Dry cereal; Spaghetti and sauce
Powdered milk; Sugar
Evaporated milk
Fresh produce
Instant potatoes
Macaroni & cheese
