Naples, FL – The 11th Annual ‘Cars on 5th’show in Naples saw attendance numbers skyrocket compared to previous years. The event, put on by the Naples Chapter of the Ferrari Club of America, welcomed an estimated crowd in excess of 50,000 guests to the streets of 5th Avenue in Naples.

Proceeds from the event, which were raised by the sale of raffle tickets, sponsorships and programs, collected more than $58,700 to benefit the life-transforming programs of St. Matthew’s House. 183 volunteers worked the six hour show throughout the day.

“From the beginning we were excited about this new partnership between our mission, the show and its organizers,” said Vann Ellison, President/CEO of St. Matthew’s House. “The number of people who showed to support all the hard work put into ‘Cars on 5th’ was truly a blessing and really shows how this community can come together for a good time and a good cause.”

“We anticipated it was going to grow compared to years past but what we saw by the end of the day really exceeded our projections,” said Tom O’Riordan, President of the Naples Chapter of the Ferrari Club of America. “It’s truly fantastic to have seen so many happy faces show to view some amazing cars and support a wonderful cause. We’re already looking forward to doing it again next year. On behalf of the many cars clubs in Southwest Florida, we are proud to know our efforts will go to such a great organization.”

The following clubs helped make this a great event:  West Coast Muscle Car Club, Corvettes of Naples, British Car Club of SW Florida, Classic Car Club of America, The Alfa Romeo Club of SW Florida, Cool Cruisers, Everglades Porsche Club, Mercedes Benz Club, and Triumphs of SW Florida. A special ‘Thank You’ also goes to our main event sponsor Seminole Casino Hotel Immokalee.
